Sleep in one Peru’s transparent sleeping Capsules?? Before you answer, they are 400 feet up the mountain!
I have seen images of mind-blowing hotels floating around the internet. But I never imagined I would be reading about sleeping capsules that are placed 400ft high in one of Peru’s valleys!
Obviously, this is not your regular fancy hotel suite, you can’t even drive here or simply walk into your hotel room, and you have to either climb up 400 feet or hike difficult trails and then use a zip wire! Talk about adventure!
But once you get into your little pod/ capsule, you are treated to some amazing views of the valley.
The 24×8 m capsules are made from aerospace aluminium and weather-resistant polycarbonate.
You might be thinking they must be really tiny, surprisingly; they are actually spacious enough as each pod offers a bedroom, bathroom and a dining area. The capsules are surrounded by large windows and four ventilation ducts to make sure you breathe easy.
There unique lodges are currently operated by Peruvian tour company , Natura Viva. It will cost you approximately £200/ $300 for a night stay.
